I have worked in the voluntary, care and arts and well-being sector for over ten years and responding to our communities has always been key to me. My experience includes co-ordinating Taw & Torridge Caring for TTVS involving support for carers, running Northam Reminiscence Café and key involvement with the Memory Café Network. In addition I work for The Plough Arts Centre and run their Youth Theatre and Outreach work – creating workshops and programmes in response to the Torrington community and local area. I also run Creative Catharsis which provides predominantly arts, health and well-being related participatory workshops. I have a Masters degree from Goldsmiths, University of London in Applied Drama: Theatre in Social, Educational and Community Settings.
Our area has a lot to offer and I look forward to connecting you all with one another and enabling more opportunities to happen – to meet social needs and enhance our local well-being.
